It has unfortunately shown that the WIA standard from Microsoft is a good idea, but only as long as everyone adheres to this standard also. Nikon has kept the company still Weitestens to this standard which most camera models from Nikon is supported today with the most features of PhotoRemote. However, rice, e.g. Camera models from Canon before. In order to be able to change this and support other functions of the cameras, we will adapt directly to the PhotoRemote API interfaces of the manufacturer. WIA devices are of course still supported.
